About Author

A native of South Carolina, Catherine Elizabeth Davis has always loved animals, nature, and adventure. Married with two children, she considers family to be one of the most important things to her. She loves spending her free time going on outdoor adventures with her family. Education is very important to her as well. Growing up, she enjoyed school and graduated both high school and college with honors. She believes that all children should be entitled to a fair and equal education.
Publishing a children's book is something Elizabeth never thought she would accomplish. Even though she enjoyed writing as a child, it was something she seldom had time for anymore after graduating from college.
After having two children was when she picked up her pencil once again and her love for writing blossomed even more. 
While homeschooling her children in 2017, she noticed that both her children did not enjoy writing. Her youngest also struggled in reading as well. Due to Elizabeth's love of learning and education, it saddened her to see both her children dislike the subjects. This is when Elizabeth decided to act. Together, with her two boys, they began writing about a subject her and both children enjoyed, snakes. They created their own poems, created artwork, and even helped photograph snakes. Before she knew it, her first children's book was born. Together, with her family, she has continued to grow with her writing and started bringing her family adventures into her books.
Due to Elizabeth's love of education, family, and nature, as well as her own personal experiences, Elizabeth hopes that she can educate and inspire other children to enjoy reading and writing as well. She also aims at promoting the need to help save our planet and hopes to help bring families together while doing so.
Catherine Elizabeth Davis holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Coastal Carolina University. Her studies included an emphasis in Early Childhood, Special Education, Business, and Health Promotion. She also is a current South Carolina licensed optician.
